The EV Zone provides auto insurance quote services, insurance information, and educational resources directly to consumers through its website. The EV Zone is not an insurance carrier, agency, or broker. The EV Zone provides its own quote services, informational resources, and customer support directly through its website. Quotes and eligibility are subject to underwriting and approval. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, ZIP code, optional mobile phone number, and the answers you choose in our quote questions (for example, the type of electric or hybrid vehicle you drive and where you usually charge it).
Consent records: whether you checked each consent box, the exact wording shown to you, the version of that wording, and the date and time.
Technical information: IP address, browser user agent, the page you submitted from, and any referral parameters in the link you used to reach us.
2. How we use information
- To prepare and deliver your quote and respond to your requests.
- To send text messages only in the categories you separately opted in to.
- To keep a record of your consent and honor opt-outs.
- To protect the website against fraud and abuse and to comply with law.
3. How information is shared
In order to fulfill your request, The EV Zone may use contracted service providers, which act solely on The EV Zone's behalf and at The EV Zone's direction, for the sole purpose of facilitating the delivery of communications you have consented to receive. These service providers operate under strict contractual obligations to process your data only as directed by The EV Zone and in accordance with this Agreement. SMS opt-in and consent: your mobile phone number, text-messaging originator opt-in data, and consent status will never be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Depending on where you live (including California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. You can stop marketing emails at any time with the unsubscribe link in the email or by writing to [email protected].

The EV Zone is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
